Tribe Vibes-See What Members Only Have Been Up to Lately!
Belonging… you know when you find your people. It’s an incredible gift when beautiful souls attract beautiful souls into community together. Shared interests , safe spaces, room to lean in and to grow, to make and to take, to give and to receive; all part of the fun and supportive atmosphere I cultivate here at The Natural Healing Project HQ.
Most recently, the invitation went out to gather for a local EO swap and Make and Take event. Lots of members with lots of essential oils to share makes for a very fun evening!
I love a good crafty get-together! What a wonderful Girls’ Night Out! We all brought our oils and infused them into bath bombs and shower fizzies. Then we had a fun essential oil swap so members could swap and try new oils. It was a win for everyone. Not local? That’s okay! We have plans for virtual nights as well, so email me to be notified! If you’d like, we can always take your order on a night like this and make something for you like this and ship it out to you with love! In the meantime, enjoy the recipe for making your own bath bombs at home and crank up a Tribe playlist here. Happy crafting!
How fun would it be to make your own DIY bath bombs at home? Here’s a recipe from the doTerra Blog to get you started:
Ingredients
2 cups baking soda
1 cup citric acid
10–20 drops essential oil of choice
100 percent pure witch hazel in spray bottle
Mold (Plastic, silicone, or metal)
Optional: Natural coloring (We used Mica Powder, which can be found here.)
Directions
In a large bowl, combine baking soda and citric acid.
If using, add ½ teaspoon natural coloring and mix well.
Stir in essential oils.
Spray the entire surface of the mix with witch hazel and mix with hands. Continue to spray and mix rapidly until the mixture holds together.
Quickly press the mixture into desired mold, making sure it is firmly packed. Let mixture set in mold for 20–30 seconds. Gently tap the mold to release bath bombs.
Let dry for 30 minutes or until they are firm and do not fall apart.
