I'm Obsessed! Minivan Camping?

I can’t help myself. Fell down the rabbit hole on Sunday with the camping bug. You see, hubs can’t understand why anyone would camp when you can stay in a really nice hotel somewhere and my gal pal Janine of girlcamper.com makes it all look so glam. Soooo…

I can be kind of an idealist. I want all the vintage and charm, and of course the whole thing needs to be aesthetically pleasing. So, I present to you my dream list.

Pinterest Version

  • A cute vintage camper would be nice

  • A pink cooler, obviously

  • A chandelier would be fun but who am I kidding and is that even camping anyway?

Real life mom of 7 version

  • What do you mean you’re going camping and leaving me with the kids?

  • Hey, will that mattress topper you just bought fit in the back of the minivan if I put the seats down?

  • Download a camping checklist, throw it all in a bin and hit the road.

  • Wait, how does that power source thingy in the back of the van work again?

Do you think I should sleep in my minivan in the driveway first? Ya know, just to be close to all of the necessities I have no idea I will be needing?
